This summer, we have the opportunity to extend Jesus' hospitality to kids and families in our broader SW community! Starting Tuesday, June 20, Markham Children’s Care Association (MCCA) will be renting the entire Missio Kids wing for their 8 week kids summer program. MCCA is a registered non-profit (licensed by the Oregon Department of Education) that exists to serve and enrich the learning experience of students at Markham Elementary, located about 1.5 miles from Missio. Because Markham will be closed for renovations this summer, their Board of Directors reached out to see if we would consider partnering with them by hosting MCCA's kids summer program. After prayerful consideration, the Missio Staff and Ministry Board decided that this type of partnership is in line with our vision for our new building and could be a significant opportunity to build new relational connections with families in our area.

In light of this partnership, the kids wing will be unavailable to the Missio community June 20-August 11, Monday-Friday from 7:30am-5:30pm. Thank you for joining us in prioritizing the safety of these precious children by honoring and respecting MCCA's program guidelines and established boundaries. If you have an urgent need that arises and you need access to the Missio Kids wing during the weekday, email Amber Son at: amber@missiocommunity.org so she can coordinate with MCCA.
