This summer, we have an incredible opportunity to care for kids and families in our broader SW community by renting part of our building to the Markham Children’s Care Association (MCCA). MCCA is a registered non-profit (licensed by the Oregon Department of Education) that exists to serve and enrich the learning experience of students at Markham Elementary, located about 1.5 miles from Missio. Because Markham will be closed for renovations this summer, their Board of Directors reached out to see if we would consider partnering with them by hosting MCCA's 8 week summer kids program. After prayerful consideration, the Missio Staff and Ministry Board decided that this type of partnership is in line with our vision for our new building and could be a significant opportunity to build new relational connections with families in our area.

From June 20-August 11, MCCA will be renting the Missio Kids wing from 7:30am-5:30pm (Monday-Friday) for their summer program. We look forward to extending the hospitality of Jesus to these children and families, and we invite you to pray for them as we welcome them into our space. More details will be provided prior to the start of the MCCA program. If you have any questions at this time, please reach out to Dominic Kan at: dominic@missiocommunity.org
