All men are invited to gather once a month on Saturday mornings at 6:30am in the Missio Community Hall, from October through May, as we invest together in our spiritual formation and apprentice under Jesus. This year, we’ll be focusing more deeply on two core practices: Prayer and Scripture.
For context, this material is rooted in Practicing the Way by John Mark Comer. Last year, we journeyed through the book and its core coursework together. This year, we’re slowing down and going deeper into two of the key practices outlined in the book—Prayer and Scripture.
If you didn’t join us last year or haven’t read the book, don’t worry. The material is accessible and meaningful for anyone, no matter where you are in your discipleship journey. That said, we highly recommend reading the book—it offers a compelling vision for apprenticeship to Jesus and provides a strong foundation for what we’ll be practicing together.
If you’re interested in joining these gatherings, please email Drew Gilges so he can add you to the group’s email list.
