After not gathering together for our Sunday Expression over the past year, we are excited and looking forward to connecting and worshipping Jesus in-person on Sundays again! We are thankful that Multnomah County, and the surrounding areas, are beginning to open up and more people are gaining access to receive COVID-19 vaccinations, and this allows us the ability to gather in person again. As we take this step with faith and wisdom, Missio is committed to the safety and well being of our community and will continue to follow CDC guidlines as we move forward in this direction.
Starting Sunday, April 25, our Sunday Expression will begin at 9am (on Zoom).
The Missio Community will continue to gather on Zoom while the Expression Leadership Team will lead and serve from the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church building on April 25, May 2 and 9. This shift is in preparation for welcoming the community to return to an in-person Sunday Expression.
Starting Sunday, May 16th at 9:00AM our community will have the opportunity to gather in-person for our Sunday Expression at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (3405 SW Alice St. Portland, OR 97219) . We will also continue to host our Expression on Zoom at 9am as well. This will allow for everyone to have an opportunity to participate and engage in our Sunday Expression together.
Reservations for In-Person Expressions will be required each week. More information on how to make reservations will be coming soon.
Our Missio Kids classes will not be open during this first phase of in-person gatherings. Families are welcome, and encouraged, to attend the 9am in-person Expression together. Our Missio Kids Expression will still be on Zoom for children to connect, learn and worship together, and will be hosted at a new time 11AM!
