Jesus commissioned the church to, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matt. 28:19-20)

As faithful followers of Jesus at Missio, we desire that everyone has the opportunity to make a confession of faith and be baptized as scripture instructs (Acts 2:38).

Water baptism identifies a person as a disciple of Christ and celebrates the passage from an old life into a new life in Christ. Simply stated, it is an outward sign of an inward change.

During this Easter's Sunday celebration, there will be an opportunity for those who have not been baptized to make this public declaration of faith. We invite anyone that would like to be baptized this year, to please contact any of our staff.

* Though the Bible does not state a minimum age at which a person may be baptized, a believer should be old enough to understand the significance of baptism. Baptism is not required to receive God’s salvation. However, we encourage all who have trusted in Christ for eternal life to be baptized as a step of obedience.
